Three activities were placed by Via Vinci in its Development Department: the Leonardo Society, Publications and Projects.
Students, graduates, teachers and partners of Via Vinci are members of the Leonardo Society. In spring 2008 the Leonardo Society will formally take off.
DBA and PhD thesis and some Master-proof papers will be published in the Development Department. Apart from these, Via Vinci also publishes specialist literature under the label of ‘Bibleon’.
Via Vinci will carry out various large regional and organizational development projects in collaboration with its local partners, who bring in their own local expertise and their own specialism.
We will keep you informed of new developments, products and activities by way of our website and Via Vinci’s Circular.
Last week Via Vinci signed a contract with 21 universities in the south of Russia. In the next 6 years Via Vinci will share her knowledge and expertise, in order to prepare universities, schools, companies and the government for the 2014 Olympic Games. Part of the project will include the modernisation of Russian higher education and to stimulate entrepreneurship.
Via Vinci’s activities in Russia will start at several locations in September 2008, with the commence of a two-year MBE (Master of Business Entrepreneurship) course. The MBE will be taught by a combined team of Russian and Western professors. Students will have access to Via Vinci’s global network and will be able to get in touch with fellow students from all over the world.
Parallel to this project Via Vinci will be developing a number of modern Science and Technology Parks. These campuses will be build in order to create the possibility to learn, work and conduct research at the same time. The campuses will create a unique and very accessible opportunity for Dutch companies to hire qualified local personnel, instead of sending out expats.
