The complete name of Via Vinci – International University for Creative Leadership and Entrepreneurship – tells exactly what the new university stands for: internationally orientated higher education and research with specialties in modern, inspiring and creative leadership and pro-active, expansive and quality-conscious entrepreneurship.

The nickname shows the way we follow: Leonardo da Vinci's. Undoubtedly Da Vinci was one of the greatest icons of our history: architect, inventor, engineer, philosopher, astronomer, physicist, chemist, sculptor, writer, painter and composer. In short: a genius! He was way ahead of his time (the 15th and 16th century) as his inventions have only become feasible in our days. And maybe some of them will be in the near future…
